The immens diversification of both services and products led by customer desire will come to an end due to a lack of resources in the future. Within 10 years we will see that the customer loses its choice and a few companies dictate the price of products. Oil is showing us how this is working and there is not much to stop them. This can be generalised I feel across the line

I would like to change corrupted mind and attitudes that perceived other countries are corrupt BUT still operating and making profit in those countries!

I would like the world governments and global companies to actively spend a tenth of the year focusing on how world peace could be acheived within the next 30 years. If they started this as one huge initiative, focusing on what the world would be like if it was peaceful and work backwords to how we could achieve it. Surely this rather than materialism should be our real focus?

$1,000,000 is spent on weapons of mass destruction per minute. Eradicate the world of all their weapons and poverty will be cured. Everyone will have enough for basic survival. We are all equal, yet most in denial.

We will not help poverty whilst "charities" take so much of the money we give to fund there overpaid management. Giving money to governments will not help either as they will just take it to use for the few not the suffering masses in their countries Ever taken a look at how the ambassadors of these nations live, especially in UK? Big property, car, staff

Stop messing around with different systems around the world for airport security and have a joint system for the security and issue of passports around the world. if this was on a single worldwide accepted format, it would put an end to false documents. you scan the passport and the correct details, retina scan / finger print / photo could all me matched to theone person. How hard can this be a in a modern world

People’s belief in their own impotence – Archimedes said “Give me a place to stand & I will move the Earth” – its not just physics – its political, cultural, emotional – we all have levers & places to stand – we can all move the Earth.

Change the mindset of african leader on governance. Governance is not a goldmine for your personal greed. It is an opportunity to to harness the essence of your life on earth...benefit to mankind Africans should also rise up above mediocre and hold goverments strictly accountable to their results. The Electorates should not only be thingking of themselves but their younger generations yet to come (posterity)

I would love to be more proactive when it comes to climate change but feel that governments, including ours, only pay lip service to the challenge. Changing light bulbs is a positive step but much more could be done in a similar vein. However, what they tend to do is to raise taxes. If time is so short what is stopping the government taking some major decisions that could help the negative climatic impact. Stop talking and start helping us help each other. Provide us with solar panels, improve public transport, remove unnecessary packaging etc, etc.

Lots of things but primarily the growing unease in the Middle East and George Bush (not necessarily in that order)

Councils could help more but they do not want to spend money on helping the environment. They could take compost, furniture and recycle but it is too much bother for them, they are narrow minded, when they could sell the compost and furniture.

I would like to change the UK to "Small government". Where I live we have central government impact on roads and hospitals, Regional government leadership of EU directives, County Government running transport, education and social services, District Government running waste, housing and local services, and (FINALLY) a Town Council acting very locally within the community. This must be inefficient, terrifically wasteful and unnecessarily expensive. How can society influence policy thinking to significantly reduce government not simply add incremental initiatives that burden wealth creation?

I would like to change human beings from cruelly killing animals for food. Encouraging vegetarianism or veganism, improves health and also maintains a balance in the atmosphere. If the animals were bred naturally, then we probably would not have to take this decision, but in a survey in USA alone, 60% of food grains produced were being used by the livestock industry. This has a drastic effect on climate change too. FAO has published a report in which the livestock sector produces 18% more greenhouse gases than the transport sector!!! Apart from this it leads deforestation for grazing fields and use of drinking water in direct competition with humans. It is reported that livestock utilize 30% of the land area of the world. Now, is it not the time to make some serious amends before we get to a stage where there is no turning back and when there might be no future to our kids???

is global capitalism working ? definetly not two thirds of the worlds population are in a state of near starvation, riddled with disease, engulfed in corruption, with no hope for the future whatsoever.also the remaining one third of the worlds population live in a situation where one eighth of the population own seven eighths of the wealth. statistics maybe, but one has only to open his eyes and take time to think and he will realise that the despotic capatilist system should be got rid of and replaced by a more careing honest system.

There is so much resources in Africa and yet her people suffer untold hardship, deprivation and oppression. We call upon the west to assist by putting in place strong enlightenment programme that will educate the people to understand the fact that "an evil we do not fight will continue to torment us".

A global carbon trading system which all countries and companies abide by. They would buy and sell carbon credits from each other, creating a direct incentive to cut carbon. Over time, the total carbon allowed to be traded could be decreased, which would be more effective than blunt "green taxes" and bans on "bad" industries.

Politics as they never seem to serve the world and do what they intended to do and they are always a bit of a let down. I'm not asking for a dictatorship, but something more speedy and ready to change would be better
